What was the highlight of The Fern, Jaipur
Good
Lists not working and the staff did not care. Room car keys carelessly charged, did not work hard to go up and down for getting the room opened. More irritating was no staff cared. Only sweet smiling girls at the reception will not help. One needs to work towards any issues also But AC in the room was switched off centrally in the morning

What was the highlight of The Fern, Jaipur
A good hotel in a peaceful locality.
We got an upgrade to a suite room which was a very warm gesture from the front desk staff. The rooms were very good, clean & comfortable. Food at the restaurant was very good.Location of the property is also very good. It’s very close to Malviya Nagar one of the good suburbs of Jaipur.
The hotel has a separate Steam & Sauna rooms inside the changing rooms on the 6th floor but since the hotel has given the Spa section (which is also on the 6th floor) to a 3rd party spa service provider called Meghavi Wellness & the Spa staff from Meghavi Wellness tries to discourage you to use steam & sauna rooms without buying their Spa services. They however allowed me after I had a small argument regarding the same. I was in any case going to go for their massage therapy on 1 of the days & did go for a spa session, But such an experience of discouraging guests from using the common facilities like Steam & Sauna which is seperate from the spa section completely was not at all a pleasant experience. Ideally it should be “no question asked” policy when it comes to using hotel properties like Steam & Sauna as they are different from the SPA section completely. You don’t see such experience in other equally reputed hotel chains like Hyatt, Ramada, Trident, etc. Further, there was renovation work being done in their GYM during the peak season. Generally, such renovations should take place during Lean seasons so that most number of guests can use these ametnities. To me it looked like a cost cutting strategy.
